Your mission

You will be part of the Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) BeNeLux Operations Team and play an important role in supporting the successful operation of our new location in Amsterdam. Based at a new port facility, you will focus on ensuring accurate data flows, reliable system communication, and smooth information exchange within a dynamic and fast-moving logistics environment.

In this role, you will monitor EDI processes, maintain data quality, and support the operations team by identifying and resolving data-related issues. You will work closely with customers, carriers, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information flow, improve processes, and contribute to the continued success of our Amsterdam operations.

Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, this position may be offered at either the Junior Specialist or Specialist level, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and opportunities for professional growth within the company.
 
Your Responsibilities
EDI Monitoring & Issue Resolution
  • Monitor daily inbound and outbound EDI messages across customers, carriers, and partners.
  • Ensure data exchanges are correctly transmitted, processed, and free of errors.
  • Investigate data issues and coordinate with IT and external partners to resolve incidents.
Data Quality & Control
  • Check the accuracy and completeness of operational data across systems.
  • Ensure key information such as vehicle status, locations, timestamps, and delivery confirmations are correctly recorded.
  • Perform data checks and reconciliations to maintain reliable reporting.
Operational Data Support
  • Support the operations team with data-related questions and issues.
  • Identify and report data inconsistencies that may impact planning, invoicing, or customer reporting.
  • Track recurring issues and support continuous improvements.
Reporting & Process Support
  • Maintain EDI performance reports, dashboards, and data quality metrics.
  • Keep documentation up to date for interfaces and processes.
  • Support testing and implementation of new partners, systems, and processes.

Your profile

  • HBO / Hoger Beroepsonderwijs or equivalent higher vocational education in IT, business or related field
  • Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken
  • Germany fluency desired but not mandatory
  • 3+ years of experience in data management or EDI coordination, ideally in logistics
