Your Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the operations team.
- Set priorities, manage resources, and monitor KPIs.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage operational risks and resolve escalations.
- Plan and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
- Coordinate vehicle movements, workshop capacity, transport planning, and shipping activities.
- Monitor daily operations, including vehicle status, load planning, and gate-out performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely shipping and customs documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for operational and customer service enquiries.
- Handle urgent customer requests and changing operational priorities.
- Maintain clear communication with carriers, terminals, and logistics partners.
- Secure transport capacity through contracted suppliers or alternative solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage service issues when required.
- Analyse operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement practical process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Follow up on operational issues through to successful resolution.
